Snowy Franklin Falls Area

Well, I didn't actuall go to the falls. I parked and hiked into the trail head. Along the way I found a cool snow shelter and climbed in. Coal found doggy friends. Then we headed up the trail. Coal got tired so I got the bright idea to cut across to another trail or road. Coal was less then thrilled with the scramble. There was even more snow then I went to this area last winter (well, spring). I was enthralled with the way the snow and ice looked on the river. It was a good outing
